WR Air Dry Enamel
| GENERAL INFORMATION |
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES |
APPLICATION |
| WR Air Dry Enamel is a single component fast drying water reducible alkyd coating. It has been formulated to meet existing state and federal volatile organic compound regulations nationwide. Its application characteristics allow its usage on a variety of substrates with results similar to those of solvent borne quick dry enamels.
WR Air Dry Enamel can be applied directly to pretreated metal and wood substrates. Metal substrates should be thoroughly cleaned and properly pre treated, either iron phosphate for steel or clear or yellow chromate on aluminum, prior to painting. If no pretreatment is available steel substrates must be primed with WR1224 WR Gray Primer. Untreated aluminum substrates must be primed using W6583 WB Wash Primer
WR Air Dry Enamel cures best at room temperature (680F); minimum ambient cure temperature 500F.
WR Air Dry Enamel is formulated to your specifications. It is free of lead and chromate hazards.
